Four lagoons, one handwoven bridge, and a very long day. This $50 full-day trip from Cusco combines high Andean scenery with living Inca tradition, giving you much more than a quick photo stop. I like the chance to cross the Q’eswachaka Bridge and see how local communities rebuild it each year with ichu grass. I also like the quiet circuit of Pomacanchi, Acopia, Asnaqocha, and Pampamarca lagoons. The main drawback is the road time: you spend about six hours in the van, and rough sections can make the journey tiring.
The early start is serious, with pickup around 5:00 a.m., but it lets you reach the countryside before the day feels crowded.
