Review of the $19 Sillustani half-day tour from Puno, with Lake Umayo views, Puma viewpoint, Atuncolla, and pre-Inca tombs.

“It was terrific! So informative and well organized! The guide Me. Esteban was the best, so passionate to explain and teach all of us both on Spanish and English about history of Inkas and Preinkas. We also tasted tradicional food and first time I tasted clay - delicious! I enjoyed every minute of the tour.”

Review of Puno’s half-day Sillustani tour, with ancient chullpas, Umayo Lagoon views, a rural home visit, pricing, tips, and drawbacks.

“A very well-organised tour and a great way to spend the afternoon. First was a brief stop at the Puno lookout then a stop at a family home near Sillustani (loved the Guinea pigs). Sillustani is beautiful, the knowledgeable guide explained everything and answered all the questions and we had plenty of time to have a look ourselves. The view over the Umayo Lagoon are wonderful, especially late afternoon.”

Visit Sillustani’s ancient chullpas, Umayo Lagoon, and a small site museum on a practical half-day tour from Puno.

“The tour started right on time. The guide was great, very much to the point and sharing important information about Sillustani. He encouraged questions and answered them well. He was relaxed and in a good mood but was in command to make sure we covered all that we need to know and also some free time for pictures or shopping some local goods. Great visit to a pre-inka site, quite impressive. We also learned a bit about the differences and commonalities between the Quechua and Aymara languages and ethnic groups that still inhabit Puno. I recommend this tour to expand your views on Peruvian history and heritage and it's not…”
